Payments

When a customer confirms a booking with you (either instantly or on-request) BookIt will debit the customers card for the full amount of the booking. BookIt will then forward the money to your bank account as follows:

  • If the booking was made via an agent or reseller, a commission will be deducted from the total value of the booking. The remaining balance will then be paid to your bank account.
  • If the booking was made direct on your website via the BookIt booking button a fee will be deducted from the total value of the booking. The remaining balance will then be paid to your bank account.

Payment to your bank account is usually prepaid 7 days prior to customer arrival but we can also pay on 20th of the following month terms if preferable. Please contact our Customer Support team if you want to discuss other possible payment options.

When a payment is ready to be made to your bank account we will contact you with instructions on how to load your bank account details into BookIt. You don’t need to load bank account details until we contact you.

Please note commission and fee amounts are as advised by BookIt and may differ depending where your product is sold. If you’re unsure about the commission for a particular booking please contact Customer Support.
